About The Position

Visiting Angels Midtown is seeking compassionate, experienced caregivers to provide non-medical in-home care for seniors and individuals with disabilities, helping them remain in their homes. Services range from companionship and personal care to support for clients with chronic disease, recovering from a stroke, or recovering from surgery. Caregivers are matched with clients based on their skills and personalities, and schedules can accommodate as many or as few hours as desired. The position is in person in the Davis, California area. Available shifts include full-time and part-time schedules, with 8-hour and 10-hour shifts. Expected hours are 20–45 per week. Pay is $19–$21 per hour, depending on availability and experience.

Requirements

At least one year of in-home care experience, professional or private.
Must be at least 18 years old and legally able to work in the United States.
Must be fully vaccinated and boosted against COVID-19 and provide a shot record.
Valid driver’s license and clean DMV record.
Reliable transportation.
Strong communication skills; bilingual and multilingual caregivers are welcome.
Ability to use a smartphone for electronic visit verification (EVV) and caregiver notes.
Ability to pass extensive background checks, including Live Scan fingerprinting.
Negative TB screening within the last 90 days.
Registration on the California Home Care Aide Registry.
Compassionate, understanding, flexible, and genuinely interested in helping others.
