About The Position

At Amada Senior Care, we are seeking experienced, dependable, and passionate caregivers to join our team. We focus on helping seniors live safely and independently in their homes. This role involves providing personalized, one-on-one care, including assistance with daily living activities, mobility, and companionship, all while offering encouragement, respect, and genuine compassion. We value our caregivers and are committed to supporting them as the foundation of our services.

Requirements

At least two years of professional caregiving or healthcare experience.
Hands-on experience using Hoyer lifts and gait belts.
Experience assisting with transfers and ambulation.
Experience with personal care.
Valid driver's license.
Reliable transportation.
Current auto insurance.
Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
Willingness to travel within a 20-mile radius of home.

Responsibilities

Provide personalized, one-on-one care to seniors allowing them to live comfortably at home.
Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and meal preparation.
Assist with mobility, transfers, and medication reminders.
Provide companionship and engage in daily activities.
Perform light housekeeping and run errands.
Offer encouragement, respect, and genuine compassion to clients.
Assist clients with Hoyer lifts, gait belts, transfers, and ambulation.
Work with both male and female clients.
Perform essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.
