Evening Caregiver- Adams County, PA (Flexible shifts)
About The Position
Visiting Angels is hiring caregivers to provide in-home support to seniors in Adams County, Pennsylvania. The company emphasizes reliable, high-quality care and a supportive work environment, with flexible scheduling and the opportunity to work consistently with one or two clients. Caregivers can choose shifts and may work full-time or part-time hours, including shifts ranging from 2 to 10 or more hours, on weekdays or weekends. Live-in work may also be available, with a separate pay range. Pay is listed at $15.00–$16.00 per hour, based on experience and shift. The position also offers a $5 gas supplement for each shift, a $0.50-per-hour attendance incentive, mileage reimbursement at the national rate when transporting clients, paid virtual or in-person training, and yearly pay increases. Caregivers may receive additional hours if they want them. Benefits include dental, vision, life, short-term disability, accidental, and critical illness insurance. Holidays are paid at time and a half, and emergency support staff are available 24/7.
Requirements
- At least 6 months of hands-on personal care experience.
- At least 6 months of bathing and toileting experience.
- Family caregiving experience is accepted.
- Reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and car insurance.
- Willingness to undergo a criminal background check.
