Caregiver Home Care Opportunities
About The Position
Guardian Angel Senior Services is hiring caregivers, including Homemakers, Personal Care Assistants (PCs and PCAs), Home Health Aides (HHAs), and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), to support clients in Cummington, Massachusetts, and surrounding communities. Both experienced caregivers and people starting a caregiving career are encouraged to apply. Free PCA and HHA training and certification opportunities are available to qualified applicants for eligible positions; certification requirements vary by role. Caregivers help clients remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes. Opportunities are available part time and full time, with flexible scheduling, day and overnight shifts, and assignments involving 8-to-12-hour shifts. Pay is competitive and based on experience, skills, certifications, and assignment. A $250 sign-on bonus is available to qualifying new caregivers, and a $250 employee referral bonus is offered. Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care, bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Prepare meals and help clients with daily routines.
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry.
- Offer medication reminders.
- Assist with mobility and everyday activities.
- Report changes in a client's condition or well-being.
