About The Position
Senior Helpers is actively seeking reliable, compassionate, and dependable caregivers who want to make a difference in the lives of seniors. You can make an incredible difference in a senior's life! We have immediate open shifts in Olmsted Falls for weekend, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday early evening shifts.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Reliability, punctuality, and communication are essential
- No prior experience required.
- Reliable transportation, Ohio required car insurance and valid driver's license
- Ability to pass required background check, motor vehicle check, and drug screening
- Compassion for seniors and a genuine desire to serve others
Nice To Haves
- CNA/STNA, LPN, RN, nursing students, or relevant healthcare experience welcome.
Responsibilities
- Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and incontinence care
- Support mobility, transfers, and fall prevention
- Provide medication reminders and observe and report changes in condition
- Assist with meal preparation and light housekeeping
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Help seniors maintain their independence, dignity, and quality of life
- Communicate effectively with clients, family, and Senior Helpers office staff
- Accurately document care and promptly report changes or concerns
