About The Position

NurseCore is seeking compassionate caregivers/personal care aides (PCAs) for one-on-one home care opportunities in Ventura, Oxnard, and Ojai. We offer flexible scheduling, competitive pay, and a supportive environment. This role involves assisting clients with daily living tasks, mobility, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and medication reminders. We have shifts available 7 days a week, including AM, PM, and overnight options. Weekend availability is required.

Requirements

• 18 years or older
• Registered with the California Home Care Registry
• One year of experience as a caregiver or PCA
• Current CPR certification
• TB test or chest x-ray
• Current physical
• Reliable transportation
• Able to read, write, and communicate effectively

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living tasks (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting)
• Support with mobility, transfers, and safe ambulation
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding
• Provide companionship and social support
• Perform light housekeeping and errands
• Remind clients to take self-administered medications
• Report any changes in condition or home environment
