About The Position

TheKey is hiring a caregiver to provide one-to-one in-home support to aging adults in Santa Clarita. The role is described as short shifts of four hours, Monday through Saturday, and the posting says both full-time and part-time schedules are available. Pay is $20–$23 per hour. Requirements

• At least one year of professional caregiving experience.
• Must work weekends.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
• HCA registration with the State of California, including meeting state background requirements; TheKey may help obtain registration after hire.
• Valid driver's license and access to a fully insured personal vehicle.
• TB clearance or chest X-ray.
• Must comply with state background screening requirements and be eligible to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with dressing, bathing, grooming, and meals.
• Perform light housekeeping, including basic cleaning, laundry, and organizing.
• Drive clients to appointments, run errands, and shop for groceries.
• Provide companionship through games, puzzles, and other activities that offer social and emotional support.
