About The Position
HomeWell Care Services is seeking compassionate Caregivers to help enhance seniors’ lives. Caregivers work one-on-one with clients, providing non-medical services and building relationships with seniors who want to age in place in their own homes. The company emphasizes treating employees with dignity, compassion, and respect.
Requirements
- CNA or HHA license preferred, or 6 months of full-time or 12 months of part-time experience caring for geriatric or chronically ill persons.
- Exceptional communication skills.
- Reliable transportation. When transporting clients, provide proof of a valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
- Proof of current TB testing.
- Physical ability to perform the duties of the position.
- Mature, caring, punctual, and reliable.
- Pass a national criminal background check and any background check required by the state.
Nice To Haves
- CNA or HHA license.
Responsibilities
- Provide companionship.
- Prepare light meals and perform light cleaning.
- Assist with bathing, grooming, and toileting.
- Assist with ambulation and provide medication reminders.
- Transport clients to appointments and errands.
