About The Position
Amada Senior Care is seeking caring, dependable individuals to provide in-home support to seniors and veterans. This role offers flexible part-time opportunities in Kemah, TX, and surrounding areas, focusing on helping clients remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their homes. The position involves providing companionship, assisting with personal care, medication reminders, errands, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and encouraging daily activities.
Requirements
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Willingness to travel to surrounding communities
- A compassionate heart and desire to help others
Nice To Haves
- Caregiving experience is helpful, but not always required
- Experience with Hoyer lifts and gait belts is a plus
Responsibilities
- Providing companionship and conversation
- Assisting with personal care, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Offering medication reminders
- Helping with errands and appointments
- Preparing meals and light housekeeping
