About The Position

As a Caregiver at Sunrise Senior Living, you provide hands-on support to residents while building meaningful relationships and helping improve quality of life. You support residents’ dignity, safety, and independence, follow Individualized Service Plans, and help create a welcoming environment. In Memory Care, you help create enriching experiences for residents with memory loss. Sunrise describes the role as offering paid training and career growth. The listed pay range is 16.05–20.10; no currency or pay period is specified. Sunrise may also offer discretionary and/or non-discretionary bonuses, subject to position, program eligibility, and performance requirements.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Must be at least 18 years old.
CPR/First Aid certification, or the ability to obtain it.
Compassion, reliability, and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, and personal care.
Follow Individualized Service Plans (ISP) and document changes.
Promote residents’ safety, dignity, and independence.
Engage residents through conversation and daily activities.
Support dining services and maintain a clean, welcoming environment.
Communicate effectively with families and care leaders.
In Memory Care, create enriching experiences for residents with memory loss.
