About The Position

Care Managers provide loving care to residents and build strong relationships while assisting with activities of daily living. The role works with a supportive team in a family-like environment, and team members are encouraged to share creative solutions to improve residents’ lives. The position focuses on residents’ comfort, safety, dignity, privacy, and mental well-being.

Requirements

Demonstrate the core values of love, kindness, honesty, goodness, fairness, and respect.
Have First Aid certification as required.
Be able to read and write English.
Know procedures and techniques involved in providing resident care services.
Understand standard procedures for providing personal services and caring for equipment and supplies.
Understand basic universal precautions to help prevent infection or contamination.
Be able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procurement manuals.
Have good communication skills, communicate effectively in English, and understand and follow written and oral directions.
Provide resident-care services within the limits of delegated tasks.
Use good judgment in recognizing symptoms that may indicate a change in a resident’s condition.
Attend monthly in-service education within the community and complete continuing education as required by law.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in health care.

Responsibilities

Assist with developing and reviewing residents’ care plans in conjunction with other disciplines.
Ensure residents’ privacy, respect, and dignity.
Detect, correct, and report unsafe conditions that could harm a resident.
Support residents’ physical comfort, safety, and mental well-being.
Assist with daily care and treatment tasks, including toileting, grooming, bathing, feeding, dressing, observing food intake, hair and nail care, moving residents between areas, and responding to calls.
