About The Position

The company is seeking a compassionate and reliable Personal Care Assistant (PCA)/Caregiver to support clients who need assistance with daily living activities. The caregiver provides personal care, companionship, and help with everyday tasks to maintain a safe and comfortable living environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and transferring clients.
• Strong communication skills and a genuine desire to help others.
• Reliable and punctual, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience as a caregiver is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal hygiene, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Help clients with mobility, transfers, and ambulation, while maintaining a safe environment.
• Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions or preferences.
• Perform light housekeeping, including laundry, cleaning, and organization.
• Provide medication reminders and assist with prescribed exercises or therapies.
• Offer companionship and engage clients in conversation and activities.
• Monitor and report changes in clients’ health or behavior to appropriate personnel.
• Respect and maintain client confidentiality and privacy.
• Follow safety and health guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
