About The Position

This role involves providing direct and indirect personal care services to clients in their homes, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN). The caregiver will follow individualized care plans, maintain a safe environment, report changes in client condition, document services, and assist clients with daily living activities while promoting their dignity, comfort, independence, and well-being. Adherence to company policies, state regulations, and professional standards is essential.

Requirements

Physically capable of performing caregiving duties
Ability to safely handle body fluids and other potentially hazardous materials
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Meets all applicable personnel and regulatory requirements

Nice To Haves

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
Completion of an accredited Home Health Aide (HHA) program preferred
Active HHA certification/license preferred

Responsibilities

Provide direct and indirect personal care services in clients' homes under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN)
Follow individualized care plans and assigned care instructions
Maintain a safe and comfortable environment while delivering care
Observe and report changes in a client's condition, behavior, or needs to the supervising nurse
Accurately document services provided and submit required reports in a timely manner
Communicate effectively with supervisors, clients, families, and healthcare team members
Assist clients with activities of daily living while promoting dignity, comfort, independence, and well-being
Adhere to all company policies, state regulations, and professional standards governing Home Health Aides
