We are currently seeking a caregiver for: Preferred Experience: Adolescent Autism and Geriatric care experience strongly preferred

Requirements

Minimum of one (1) year of caregiver or home care experience
Experience with or willingness to be trained in ostomy care
High school diploma or GED
Current CPR certification
Negative TB test (skin test or chest x-ray)
Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and proof of insurance
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks (standing, walking, bending, etc.)

Nice To Haves

Experience working with adolescents with autism and geriatric clients preferred (or willingness to learn)

Responsibilities

Provide personal care services tailored to each client’s needs
Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, toileting, and grooming
Perform ostomy care and bag cleaning per care plan and training
Provide supportive care and engagement for an adolescent with autism
Provide compassionate care for geriatric clients as needed
Assist with: Meal preparation and feeding, Light housekeeping and linen changes, Transportation to appointments and errands, Outdoor activities and shopping
Support client mobility (active and passive exercises) per care plan
Observe and report changes in condition to the Director of Nursing
