Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous caregiving experience is an advantage
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred
- Compassionate, patient, and dependable
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow individualized care plans and work collaboratively with a team.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene
- Support safe mobility, including walking, transfers, and positioning
- Provide medication reminders as directed
- Prepare nutritious meals that meet clients' dietary requirements
- Encourage healthy eating habits and proper hydration
- Provide companionship and meaningful social interaction
- Accompany clients to medical appointments and community outings as needed
