About The Position

Compassionate Caregivers in Southern Anne Arundel and Calvert Counties. Bring your heart to work! We’re hiring dedicated Caregivers to provide meaningful one-on-one care to clients in Anne Arundel County, including: Tracy’s Landing, Deale, Shady Side, Friendship, Lothian while actively welcoming applicants from nearby Calvert County: Dunkirk, Owings, North Beach, Chesapeake Beach, Huntingtown and Sunderland. Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• 1 year of proven experience as caregiver, PCA, home health aid, nursing assistant
• CPR and First Aid certification
• Possess a valid driver’s license and own transportation
• Ability to speak and understand English as needed for the job

Responsibilities

• Assist with mobility devices (walker, wheelchair, lift)
• Assist with transferring/moving clients
• Support daily living activities
• Light assistance that promotes comfort, dignity, and independence
• Support range-of-motion exercises, and physical care needs
• Meal preparation and special diet support
• Accompany clients on errands or appointments
• Medication reminders
• Provide compassionate companionship, conversation and emotional support
• Perform housekeeping activities
