Requirements

• 5+ Years� Experience
• Experience operating computer equipment, software programs including Microsoft Office Suite, and field-testing equipment.
• Certifications Required: ACI Soils, Aggregate, HMA and MOT

Responsibilities

• Inspect roadway rehabilitation activities - including paving, surface treatments, patching, and pavement markings, while monitoring associated traffic control operations.
• Ensure work is performed in accordance with project plans and contract specifications across a variety of construction processes, while conducting field quality assurance testing, including material sampling and testing for asphalt and concrete in compliance with applicable standards.
• Inspect roadway rehabilitation work, including milling, asphalt and concrete placement, surface treatments, patching, pavement markings, and traffic control.
• Maintain project records, including daily reports, material tickets, sketches, calculations, test results, and photos.
• Perform field quality assurance testing, including material sampling, asphalt temperature/density checks, and concrete testing per ASTM standards.
• Support field layout of driveways and tie-ins to maintain proper drainage.
• Coordinate utility and valve box adjustments with contractors and agencies and ensure compliance with erosion and sediment control requirements.
