About The Position
Griswold Home Care for Frederick County is actively hiring part-time Caregivers, PCAs, and CNAs to provide personal care, companionship, and homemaking services to older adults across Frederick County, Maryland. They are looking for compassionate, reliable, and responsible individuals who take pride in their work. The role involves assisting clients with daily living activities, light housekeeping, meal preparation, transportation, and providing specialized care for those with dementia or memory issues. Communication with families and the office team is also a key part of the role.
Requirements
- CPR Certification required
- TB Clearance per CDC guidance and Maryland RSA regulations
- Valid driver's license and dependable personal vehicle with current insurance and registration
- Willingness to travel within Frederick County
- Must successfully complete a criminal background check
Nice To Haves
- CNA certification is a plus, but not a requirement
- At least one year of caregiving or home care experience preferred
- High school diploma or GED preferred
Responsibilities
- Assisting clients with personal care needs such as bathing, grooming, and toileting
- Light housekeeping and meal preparation
- Grocery shopping and transporting clients to appointments
- Dementia and memory care support
- Keeping families and the office team informed with timely care updates
