About The Position

Right at Home is hiring caregivers for immediate openings in the Hatfield, Pennsylvania area. Caregivers help improve clients’ quality of life by assisting with personal care and activities of daily living in clients’ homes. The role includes supporting clients with mobility, household tasks, meals, errands, medication reminders, prescribed exercises, dementia care, and companionship.

Requirements

• High school graduate or GED certificate preferred.
• Able to lift or move 50 pounds without assistance.
• Able to read, write, speak, and understand English as needed for the job.
• Valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance.
• Must pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Assist with transferring or moving clients throughout their homes.
• Perform housekeeping, including vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping floors, washing dishes, changing bed linens, doing laundry, and cleaning bathrooms.
• Prepare meals and snacks according to instructions.
• Accompany clients on errands or to medical appointments.
• Assist with bathing, showering, dressing, and shaving.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Assist with prescribed range-of-motion exercises.
• Provide dementia care.
• Offer companionship through activities such as reading, music, and puzzles.
