About The Position

Griswold Home Care for Greater Mission Viejo is seeking compassionate individuals to join our team as Caregivers. We offer both full-time and part-time opportunities with flexible schedules. Our mission is to help seniors live as fully and independently as possible in their own homes. As a Caregiver, you will provide non-medical elderly care and companionship, assisting with tasks such as laundry, grocery shopping, meal preparation, and personal hygiene. You will also provide companionship to clients with dementia or cognitive impairments, ensuring they receive the highest quality of care with dignity and professionalism. This role involves documenting shift activities and communicating client needs to the office.

Requirements

• Reliable transportation and Driver's License
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 2+ Years of home care or facility experience
• Dependable
• Punctual
• Flexible availability

Nice To Haves

• Registered with Guardian a PLUS but not necessary

Responsibilities

• Provide non-medical elderly care and home companionship.
• Assist with laundry, grocery shopping, and meal preparation.
• Help clients maintain proper personal hygiene, including bathing and feeding.
• Provide companionship to clients with dementia or cognitive impairments.
• Complete documentation for each shift and submit timely updates.
• Communicate routinely with the office about client condition and needs.
