About The Position

Senior Helpers of Spokane caregivers provide one-on-one personal care to help our clients remain safe and independent in their home. We take care to fit your area of expertise and experience with the seniors you will care for. If you are a caring and compassionate individual who enjoys caring for and helping others, takes pride in making a difference in others’ lives, and is interested in professional growth within a company, our caregiver position is for you.

Requirements

Ability to pass background checks
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
With current car insurance

Washington State Home Care Aides (HCA) and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) are strongly encouraged to apply. We value your training, experience, and commitment to providing exceptional care. Candidates with caregiving certifications may be eligible for a faster onboarding process and starting rate of pay.

Responsibilities

Have fun and engaging conversations with your clients to build relationships
Participate in your clients’ favorite hobbies (scrapbooking, gardening, games, etc.)
Prep meals for your clients to enjoy
Assist your clients with walking, dressing, and other daily activities of living (ADL’s)
Showing
Toileting
Med Reminders
Report what activities were completed with your clients and provide updates on your clients’ physical condition, mental capacity, and behavior
