About The Position

Home Helpers Home Care of Sarasota is seeking reliable, caring caregivers to provide personalized, one-on-one assistance to seniors in their homes. Caregivers help clients with everyday needs, follow individualized care plans, and communicate professionally with families and office staff. The role offers flexible full-time and part-time scheduling, primarily weekday day shifts, initial and ongoing training, and a supportive office team. Compensation is $17–$19 per hour, with performance incentives and travel reimbursement. Professional caregiving experience is preferred; applicants with or without CNA/HHA certification are encouraged to apply.

Requirements

• Professional caregiving experience is preferred.
• Applicants with caregiving experience may apply with or without CNA/HHA certification.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
• Clean driving record.
• Access to a smartphone and email.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living and personal care.
• Provide companionship.
• Prepare meals.
• Provide transportation and assist with shopping and errands.
• Pick up prescriptions and assist with telehealth visits.
• Perform light housekeeping.
• Follow individualized care plans.
• Communicate professionally with clients’ families and office staff.
