About The Position

One You Love Homecare of North, South, and West Houston is seeking compassionate caregivers with an active CNA license to provide one-on-one support that helps seniors live safely and independently at home. Caregivers provide essential non-medical assistance in clients’ homes, supporting their independence and dignity through companionship, personal care, help with daily living activities, and light housekeeping.

Schedules vary depending on client needs. Flexible scheduling is available for days, evenings, weekends, and overnights.

Requirements

• Active CNA license.
• Prior experience in caregiving, home care, or a related field.
• State certification and license in good standing, if applicable.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license, with proof of insurance if required for client transport.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to assist clients with mobility and physical transfers.
• Ability to stand, bend, and kneel for extended periods.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Assist with daily living activities, including personal care and mobility.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding.
• Maintain client safety and report changes in condition.
• Observe infection control and follow care plan protocols.
• Provide transportation for appointments and activities.
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry.
• Remind clients to take medication.
• Clock in and out and document all tasks.
