About The Position
The Caregiver assists residents with aspects of daily life as specified in their care plans, including personal care, food service, housekeeping, laundry, behavior management, socialization, and activities. This is a per diem, non-exempt, hourly position reporting to the Health & Wellness Director. The listed base pay is $20.00–$21.00 per hour.
Requirements
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Certified Home Health Aid (HHA).
- Knowledge and experience working with the elderly population.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with dementia.
Responsibilities
- Provide resident care, including bathing, dressing, toileting, and feeding, as outlined in care plans.
- Maintain residents’ safety, comfort, dignity, and confidentiality.
- Escort residents to meals and activities.
- Ensure assigned residents are clean, neatly dressed and groomed, safe, and fed during assigned shifts.
- Document all services provided to assigned residents during the shift.
- Immediately report any change in a resident’s condition to a supervisor.
