About The Position
Home Helpers Home Care of Gwinnett is hiring an experienced, compassionate, and dependable caregiver in Jefferson, Georgia. The role involves helping clients with daily living and personal care, providing companionship and emotional support, and contributing to clients’ safety and well-being. The ideal candidate has at least three years of caregiving experience, a caring attitude, strong communication skills, and a commitment to safe, respectful care. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM–12:00 PM, for approximately 25 hours per week. The posting also lists a 7:00 AM–5:00 PM schedule in its opening details.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of caregiving experience.
- Dependable, punctual, and professional.

Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities and personal care as needed.
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding when needed.
- Support safe mobility and transfers as appropriate.
- Provide medication reminders according to the care plan and company policies.
- Perform light housekeeping related to client care.
- Monitor and report changes in clients’ conditions.
- Follow care plans and maintain a safe, clean environment.
- Treat every client with dignity, patience, and respect.
