Caregiver Needed - Full-Time and Part-Time
About The Position
Assisting Hands Home Care of West Houston is seeking caring and dependable Caregivers to provide in-home support to clients in the 77077 area of West Houston. Full-time and part-time opportunities are available for caregivers who help clients live safely and comfortably at home. The role involves personal care, companionship, mobility assistance, meal preparation, medication reminders, light housekeeping, errands, and observing and communicating changes in clients’ conditions. Caregivers work independently in clients’ homes and help maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment. Compensation is $13.00–$15.00 per hour. Assignments are in West Houston, with a supportive office and care team and opportunities for ongoing work and additional shifts.
Requirements
- Caring, patient, and respectful.
- Dependable and punctual.
- Comfortable working independently in a client's home.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Available for flexible shifts, including weekends when needed.
Nice To Haves
- Previous caregiver, home care, or senior care experience is preferred.
- Reliable transportation is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care and daily routines.
- Provide companionship and meaningful interaction.
- Help with walking, transfers, positioning, and mobility.
- Prepare meals and assist with hydration.
- Provide medication reminders.
- Complete light housekeeping and laundry.
- Help with errands and appointments as needed.
- Observe and communicate changes in the client's condition.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable home environment.
