About The Position

Assisting Hands Home Care of West Houston is seeking caring and dependable caregivers to provide in-home support to clients in the 77077 area of West Houston. Full-time and part-time opportunities are available for caregivers who help clients live safely and comfortably at home.

The role includes assisting with personal care and daily routines, providing companionship, supporting mobility, preparing meals, offering medication reminders, and helping maintain a safe and comfortable home. Caregivers may also help with light housekeeping, laundry, errands, and appointments, and communicate observed changes in clients’ conditions.

The position offers flexible scheduling, local caregiving assignments, support from an office and care team, and opportunities for ongoing work and additional shifts.

Requirements

• Caring, patient, and respectful.
• Dependable and punctual.
• Comfortable working independently in a client's home.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Available for flexible shifts, including weekends when needed.

Nice To Haves

• Previous caregiver, home care, or senior care experience preferred.
• Reliable transportation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care and daily routines.
• Provide companionship and meaningful interaction.
• Help with walking, transfers, positioning, and mobility.
• Prepare meals and assist with hydration.
