About The Position
Senior Helpers of Northwest Arkansas is hiring in-home caregivers to support seniors in Siloam Springs and surrounding communities, including Gentry, Gravette, Decatur, and Sulphur Springs. The role provides one-on-one care intended to help clients maintain the best quality of life possible at home. Care assignments are matched to the caregiver’s area of expertise. The employer is an independently owned and operated Senior Helpers franchisee. Senior Helpers provides services ranging from specialized care for people with chronic diseases to companionship and assistance with daily activities.
Requirements
- At least one year of experience in healthcare, home care, assisted living, independent living, home health, medical assistance, or nursing assistance.
- Willingness to learn new skills to best assist clients.
- Caring and compassionate, with a true desire to help others.
Responsibilities
- Support clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) as assigned.
- Provide companionship and emotional support through conversation and recreational activities.
- Perform household tasks such as meal preparation and tidying up.
