About The Position

Meadowview of Clive, a Cassia Community, is hiring a part-time Caregiver in Clive, Iowa. Caregivers support residents with daily activities, personal care, and medication administration while helping them maintain independence. The role calls for a team-oriented person who is also comfortable working independently. Evening and night shifts are available. Starting pay is $17.34 per hour, or $18.34 per hour with Medication Manager Certification.

Meadowview of Clive is a senior care community opened in June 2023 near the Clive Greenbelt Trail. Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Home Health Aide (HHA), or Personal Care Attendant (PCA).
• Must be Med Aide certified.
• Memory care or dementia experience.
• Passion for geriatric care.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with residents and staff.
• Ability to work a consistent work schedule.
• Must be 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Help residents reach and maintain the highest possible level of performance and independence while assisting with personal care and activities of daily living.
• Assist with treatments delegated by the Registered Nurse according to each resident’s individualized care plan.
• Take and record residents’ temperature, blood pressure, weight, pulse, and respiration as instructed, and report changes or concerns to the nurse.
• Document services performed using a computerized charting system.
• Observe residents and report changes in physical or emotional condition, including changes in attitude, reactions, or appetite, to the supervisor.
• Assist with personal care, which may include shampooing hair, showering or bathing, fingernail and foot care, and medication administration.
• Perform additional tasks as needed.
