About The Position
Independent Home Health is hiring dependable, compassionate Caregivers to provide one-on-one, non-medical care to individuals in their homes throughout Selinsgrove and surrounding communities. Caregivers help the people they support remain safe, comfortable, and independent at home while building relationships with them. No professional caregiving experience is required. Full-time and part-time opportunities are available based on current cases. The listed rate is $15 per hour, with flexible scheduling and support from a local team.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Must be able to complete required background checks.
- Must be dependable, caring, and patient.
- No previous caregiving experience is required.
Nice To Haves
- Previous caregiving experience is welcome.
- Experience as a caregiver, direct care worker, personal care aide, home health aide, PCA, HHA, or CNA is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Assist with bathing, dressing, and grooming, depending on the individual's needs.
- Help with mobility and everyday activities.
- Prepare meals.
- Complete light housekeeping.
- Provide companionship and conversation.
- Assist with errands or appointments when needed.
- Follow the individual's care plan.
- Document the services provided.
