About The Position
Senior Helpers of Reno is hiring on-call caregivers for PRN/per-diem shifts serving Reno, Sparks, Carson City, and Gardnerville. Caregivers provide in-home assistance and companionship to seniors, with assignments matched to their area of expertise. Requirements
- Caring and compassionate, with an enjoyment of helping others.
- Willingness to learn new skills to best assist clients.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in healthcare, home care, assisted living, independent living, home health, medical assistance, or nursing assistance.
- CNA, PCA, RN, new graduate RN, LPN, LVN, or HHA background.
Responsibilities
- Assist with assigned Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).
- Provide companionship and emotional support through conversation and recreational activities.
- Perform household tasks such as meal preparation and tidying up.
