Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, such as lifting and transferring clients.
• Strong communication skills and a genuine desire to help others.
• Reliability, punctuality, and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Nice To Haves

• Previous caregiver experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal hygiene, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Help clients with mobility, transfers, and ambulation, while maintaining a safe environment.
• Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions or preferences.
• Assist with light housekeeping, including laundry, cleaning, and organization.
• Provide medication reminders and help with prescribed exercises or therapies.
• Offer companionship and engage clients in conversation and activities.
• Monitor and report changes in clients’ health or behavior to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain client confidentiality and privacy.
• Follow safety and health guidelines.
