About The Position

Assisting Hands Home Care is seeking compassionate and dependable caregivers to help clients live safely, comfortably, and joyfully in their homes. Requirements

• 18 years or older
• Responsible, mature, and dependable
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively
• CPR & First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain within 2 weeks)
• Reliable transportation, valid insurance, and good driving record
• Ability to pass a background check and TB test (or obtain within 2 weeks)

Nice To Haves

• CNA or prior caregiving experience
• Previous home care or long-term care experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Assisting with personal care (bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting)
• Helping with mobility and safe transfers
• Meal preparation and nutritional support
• Medication reminders
• Light housekeeping and laundry
• Providing companionship and emotional support
• Transportation to appointments, errands, and social activities
• Supporting clients living with Alzheimer’s or dementia
• Documenting care using our easy-to-use AxisCare app
• Following all safety and infection-control policies
