About The Position

The Cottages Assisted Living & Memory Care is hiring a part-time caregiver for Friday and Saturday night (NOC) shifts. Caregivers help residents feel safe, comfortable, respected, and cared for in small, residential-style communities. The role involves providing personalized assistance, building relationships with residents, and working with a team to maintain a positive, welcoming home. No prior experience is required; comprehensive training is provided. Experience is preferred but not required.

Requirements

• Must be at least 17 years of age.
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds.
• Ability to follow instructions, company policies, and resident care plans.
• Successful completion of required criminal background screening.
• Successful completion of a post-offer drug screening.
• Genuine desire to provide compassionate, quality care.
• Dependability, compassion, patience, integrity, teamwork, and willingness to learn.

Nice To Haves

• Caregiving experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal care.
• Provide medication assistance as trained and authorized.
• Support residents with walking, mobility, and daily activities.
• Prepare and serve home-cooked meals.
• Assist with light housekeeping and laundry.
• Monitor resident safety and well-being.
• Build relationships through conversation, companionship, and activities.
• Work with the team to create a positive, welcoming home for residents.
• Follow care and safety procedures and resident care plans.
