Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications preferred.
  • Previous experience in caregiving or healthcare preferred.
  • Compassionate and patient demeanor with a strong desire to help others.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
  • Current CPR and First Aid certification is a plus.
  • Must pass background checks and drug screening.
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
  • Each employee is subject to a Level 2 Background Screening.

Nice To Haves

  • Relevant certifications preferred.
  • Current CPR and First Aid certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' quality of life.
  • Administer medications as prescribed and monitor clients' health conditions.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
  • Document care provided and report changes in clients' conditions to the care team.
  • Engage clients in social and recreational activities to promote mental and physical well-being.
  • Collaborate with family members and healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Follow care plans and adhere to company policies and procedures.
