Urgently Hiring Experienced Caregiver
About The Position
Chanda Care, Inc., a locally owned, nurse-led home care company, is urgently hiring experienced Caregivers, PCAs, HHAs, and CNAs to provide one-on-one care to seniors and adults in their homes in Chicopee, Springfield, Holyoke, Ludlow, West Springfield, and surrounding areas. The role offers flexible part-time scheduling and pay of $18.50–$21.00 per hour. Caregivers receive bi-weekly pay by direct deposit, paid orientation and training, mileage reimbursement and paid travel time between clients, holiday pay at time-and-a-half for eligible hours, and 24/7 caregiver support. Other offerings include referral bonuses, paid sick time for eligible employees, an IRA retirement plan, career growth and paid apprenticeship opportunities, and caregiver appreciation awards and incentives.
Requirements
- Previous hands-on caregiving experience.
- Valid driver's license.
- Own a reliable personal vehicle.
- Current car insurance.
- Availability for at least three weekend shifts per month.
- Smartphone with reliable communication capabilities.
- Ability to pass background and reference checks.
- Willingness to complete required training.
- Authorization to work in the United States.
Nice To Haves
- Experience as a PCA, HHA, CNA, DSP, or Home Care Aide is highly valued.
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, one-on-one care to seniors and adults in their homes.
- Assist clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Help with mobility, transfers, and daily activities.
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
- Assist with meals and light housekeeping.
- Support clients with dementia and end-of-life care.
- Follow care plans and document care provided.
