About The Position
Comfort Keepers is currently seeking compassionate and attentive Caregivers to provide one-on-one care for clients in the Weatherford (76086) area. Requirements
- At least one year of senior care experience (agency, facility, or private care)
- Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and auto insurance
- Ability to lift at least 25 lbs
- Must be reachable by phone or email for scheduling updates
Nice To Haves
- CNA certification preferred but not required
- Experience with dementia care is a plus
- Comfortable working around small dogs
Responsibilities
- Provide companionship, conversation, and emotional support
- Assist with personal care: bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and feeding
- Help clients dress, maintain hygiene, and lay out clothing
- Provide medication reminders
- Prepare and plan nutritional meals suited to the client’s needs
- Perform light housekeeping tasks: laundry, linen changes, and general home tidiness
- Provide transportation to/from appointments and errands
- Help family members learn safe care techniques
- Follow the client’s care plan and report any changes in condition or needs
