About The Position

Easter Seals of Tennessee is seeking a compassionate and hardworking Caregiver to support people with disabilities as they learn, work, and participate in their communities. Based in a person-supported home, the role provides assistance with daily activities, including meal preparation, personal hygiene, and medication administration. Caregivers may also accompany individuals in the community and support therapeutic and behavioral plans in partnership with clinical staff to enhance the quality of life of the people supported. Previous experience is not required; training is provided for candidates with the right attitude. The schedule is Friday and Saturday, 4 PM–12 AM. Starting pay is $15 per hour. Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must have a valid driver's license.
Must have valid automobile insurance.
Basic computer skills.
Must pass a background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

Assist individuals with daily activities, including meal preparation, personal hygiene, and medication administration.
Accompany individuals in the community to facilitate community involvement.
Support therapeutic and behavioral plans in partnership with clinical staff.
