About The Position
Howard County Needs Caregivers Who Care — Come Grow With Us! Griswold Home Care for Howard County is actively hiring part-time Caregivers, PCAs, and CNAs to bring personal care, companionship, and homemaking services to older adults living throughout Howard County, Maryland. Founded in 1982 by Jean Griswold, we are the nation's oldest non-medical home care franchise — with more than 170 locations across 30 states and a legacy built on the lives of over 10,000 families. Requirements
- A caring, reliable, and responsible person ready to make a real impact
- CPR Certification required
- TB Clearance per CDC guidance and Maryland RSA regulations
- Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle with current insurance and registration
- Willingness to travel within the Carroll County service area
- Must successfully pass a criminal background check
Nice To Haves
- CNA certification is a plus, but not required
- At least one year of caregiving or home care experience preferred
- High school diploma or GED preferred
Responsibilities
- Assisting clients with personal care including bathing, grooming, and toileting
- Light housekeeping and meal preparation
- Grocery shopping and transporting clients to appointments
- Dementia and memory care support
- Keeping families and the office updated with regular care notes
