About The Position

Attentive Care Service Agency is seeking passionate Caregivers/Personal Care Assistants. The Personal Care Assistant provides essential support to clients in their homes by assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs). The role helps clients maintain independence, comfort, and safety while following care plans and agency guidelines. It requires compassion, reliability, and the ability to support people with personal care and daily living needs respectfully and professionally.

Requirements

• Meet Department of Health qualifications and successfully complete the agency’s training program.
• Demonstrate a compassionate and supportive attitude toward individuals with disabilities and special needs.
• Be able to read, write, and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Have strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Demonstrate maturity, reliability, and the ability to manage the physical and emotional demands of the position.

Responsibilities

• Follow and adhere to all company policies and procedures.
• Provide personal care services to clients as assigned, in accordance with the care plan.
• Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, dressing, mobility, and toileting.
• Ensure clients’ safety, comfort, and well-being in their home environment.
• Maintain professional conduct and respectful interactions with clients and family members.
• Perform physical tasks including standing, bending, lifting, and assisting clients with mobility when necessary.
• Safely lift or assist with lifting up to 50 pounds when required.
• Perform duties that may require extended periods of standing and physical activity.
