About The Position

The Personal Care Attendant (Caregiver) focuses on client satisfaction and safety for both the client and caregiver. The role requires sensitivity to others' needs, a professional manner, a positive attitude, comfort providing care in a private home or setting, and punctuality for scheduled shifts. The position pays $18.00 to $22.00 per hour.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Must be able to provide services according to the client's care plan.
Excellent customer service and listening skills.
Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with the client and office staff.
Ability to read and write clear English.
Ability to perform basic mathematics.

Nice To Haves

CNA or MA qualification; these are preferred but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

Provide excellent client care, including skin care maintenance.
Assist with range-of-motion and muscle-strengthening exercises to maintain the client's optimal level of functioning.
Assist with toileting, bathing, grooming, and other personal hygiene needs.
Turn and position the client.
Monitor and report changes in the client's status to the Client Care Coordinator(s).
Clock in and out according to the direction and procedures assigned by the Client Care Coordinator(s).
Assist the client with dressing and undressing.
Arrange and manage medications to be taken as directed by a doctor.
Monitor for signs of ailments and communicate concerns to the office.
Maintain a hygienic environment.
Perform other job-related tasks as requested.
