About The Position

Guardian Angel Senior Services is hiring compassionate Home Health Aides (HHAs), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), and caregivers throughout the greater Springfield area. We offer free HHA training and certification to qualified applicants. As an in-home caregiver, you will help older adults remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes.

Requirements

A reliable personal vehicle and valid driver's license
Ability to communicate clearly in English, both verbally and in writing
Dependability, compassion, patience, and respect for clients
Strong time-management and organization skills
Commitment to client safety, confidentiality, and agency care standards

Nice To Haves

HHA or CNA certification is welcome, but not required

Responsibilities

Assisting with bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and other personal-care needs
Providing friendly companionship and emotional encouragement
Preparing meals based on clients' preferences and dietary needs
Helping with light housekeeping, including laundry, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, and bathroom cleaning
Running essential errands, such as grocery shopping
Offering medication reminders
Observing clients and reporting changes in their condition to the appropriate supervisor
Responding calmly and responsibly to urgent situations
