About The Position

Guardian Angel Senior Services is hiring compassionate Home Health Aides (HHAs), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), and caregivers throughout the greater Springfield area. Make a meaningful difference while working a schedule that works for you. No HHA or CNA certification yet? We offer free HHA training and certification to qualified applicants. As an in-home caregiver, you will help older adults remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes.

Requirements

• A reliable personal vehicle and valid driver's license
• Ability to communicate clearly in English, both verbally and in writing
• Dependability, compassion, patience, and respect for clients
• Strong time-management and organization skills
• Commitment to client safety, confidentiality, and agency care standards

Nice To Haves

• HHA or CNA certification is welcome, but not required

Responsibilities

• Assisting with bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and other personal-care needs
• Providing friendly companionship and emotional encouragement
• Preparing meals based on clients' preferences and dietary needs
• Helping with light housekeeping, including laundry, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, and bathroom cleaning
• Running essential errands, such as grocery shopping
• Offering medication reminders
• Observing clients and reporting changes in their condition to the appropriate supervisor
• Responding calmly and responsibly to urgent situations
