About The Position

Griswold Care for the Greater Twin Cities is looking to hire part-time Caregivers/PCA/DSP's to help senior clients maintain their dignity and independence by providing non-medical care and home companionship. This role involves providing meaningful companionship and valuable caregiving assistance to senior clients within their homes. Responsibilities include preparing meals, grocery shopping, light housekeeping, assisting with non-medical elderly care tasks such as feeding and bathing, and helping clients maintain proper personal hygiene. The role also involves providing caregiving services to clients with cognitive impairments or dementia, communicating proactively with the office, and logging accurate documentation. The goal is to help adults maintain quality of life despite advanced age, illness, or post-surgery recovery.

Requirements

• Reliable transportation
• Current valid driver's license
• 18 years of age
• Willing to travel up to 25 miles
• Committed to providing compassionate elderly care
• Able to manage time wisely
• Dependable and cheerful demeanor

Nice To Haves

• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• 2+ years of home care experience would be a plus; caring for a loved one counts.

Responsibilities
