About The Position

Griswold Care for the Greater Twin Cities is looking to hire part-time Caregivers/PCA/DSP's to help senior clients maintain their dignity and independence by providing non-medical care and home companionship. This role offers flexible hours and the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of seniors. As a Personal Care Assistant / PCA, you will provide meaningful companionship and valuable caregiving assistance to senior clients within their homes. Daily tasks include preparing meals, grocery shopping, light housekeeping, and assisting with non-medical elderly care tasks such as feeding and bathing, always prioritizing the client's dignity. You will also assist clients with cognitive impairments or dementia, communicate proactively with the office, and submit accurate documentation. The position involves flexible scheduling with opportunities for day and night shifts, with client care needs ranging from 4 hours to 24 hours.

Requirements

• Reliable transportation
• Current valid driver's license
• 18 years of age
• Willing to travel up to 25 miles

Nice To Haves

• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• 2+ years of home care experience (caring for a loved one counts).

Responsibilities
