About The Position

Glen Park Senior Living is seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers/Medication Technicians to assist residents with daily living activities and medication management. In this Assisted Living Facility role, you will provide medication administration and help ensure residents’ comfort and safety. The position is based in person at Glen Park at Glendora, 452 Seller St, Glendora, CA 91741. Available shifts are NOC and weekends. For residents with developmental disabilities, the role also involves following the facility’s Program Design, completing specialized training, working toward goals in each resident’s Individual Program Plan (IPP), and recording progress toward IPP objectives.

Requirements

Live-Scan fingerprint clearance.
CPR/First Aid certificate.
Negative TB test and health screening.

Responsibilities

Administer medications in compliance with Title 22 regulations and physician instructions.
Monitor residents’ medication records and report errors to the Lead Medication Technician or Administrator.
Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, and toileting.
Order and track medications to ensure residents have timely access to them.
Maintain accurate, progressive documentation and communicate regularly with physicians and medical professionals.
Schedule and coordinate residents’ doctor appointments as needed.
Work with medical professionals to promote resident engagement, reduce pain, and maintain independence.
Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents and staff.
Remain composed and take appropriate action during emergencies.
For residents with developmental disabilities, align performance with the facility’s Program Design, complete specialized training, help achieve IPP goals, and maintain detailed progress notes.
