About The Position

The Caregiver / Home Health Aide (HHA) provides compassionate, hands-on in-home support to seniors, helping them remain safe and independent in their homes while maintaining their dignity and well-being. The role includes assistance with personal care and daily activities, mobility and safety, meal preparation, light housekeeping, companionship, and meaningful engagement. Caregivers also provide medication reminders, document clients’ conditions, and report concerns. The position serves clients throughout Chester, Philadelphia, and Delaware Counties, Pennsylvania, and is offered on a per-diem (PRN) basis. The employer describes a supportive local team, a 1:1 caregiver-to-client ratio, weekly pay, and access to online training and continuing education units (CEUs).

Requirements

• At least six months of verifiable caregiving experience.
• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation.
• Valid two-step PPD or TB Gold.
• A smartphone capable of downloading and using a timeclock app.
• Strong work ethic and a history of dependable attendance.
• Compassionate nature and strong communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate in-home support that helps seniors live safely and independently.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, meal preparation, shopping, and companionship.
• Support mobility and safety through ambulation assistance, transfers, and range-of-motion exercises.
• Provide medication reminders, document clients’ conditions, and report concerns.
• Engage clients in activities such as puzzles, reading, and shared hobbies.
