About The Position
Guardian Angel Senior Services is hiring compassionate Caregivers and Home Care Aides in Derry, NH and surrounding communities for full-time and part-time opportunities. We offer flexible scheduling, daily pay, and meaningful work, allowing you to make a difference in someone's life without giving up your flexibility. We provide one-on-one support to help seniors remain safe, comfortable, and independent at home. We encourage individuals new to caregiving to apply, as paid training is available for qualified candidates.
Requirements
- A caring and dependable attitude
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to provide compassionate care
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable vehicle and required insurance
- Ability to work independently in a client's home
- Authorization to work in the United States
- Ability to complete required employment and background screening
Nice To Haves
- Experience as a PCA, Caregiver, HHA, LNA, CNA, Home Health Aide, Personal Care Assistant, or Direct Care Worker is welcome.
Responsibilities
- Assisting with bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Helping with personal care and daily activities
- Preparing meals and assisting with feeding
- Providing companionship and emotional support
- Light housekeeping and laundry
- Grocery shopping and errands
- Medication reminders
- Assisting with mobility and transfers
- Reporting changes in a client's condition
- Helping maintain a safe and comfortable home environment
- Following the client's care plan
