About The Position

Home Helpers Home Care is hiring compassionate, dependable caregivers, Home Care Aides (HCA), CNAs, and HHAs to provide one-on-one care to seniors in Half Moon Bay, Moss Beach, El Granada, Montara, Pacifica, and nearby Coastside communities. Caregivers are matched to assignments by location, availability, and experience whenever possible. The role offers part-time shifts, including 4-, 5-, and 6-hour morning or afternoon shifts on weekdays and weekends. Caregivers may work with multiple clients, and open availability provides the most scheduling opportunities. Compensation is listed as $22–$25 per hour depending on the client assignment; a later section also mentions starting pay of $20 per hour. Pay is every other Friday, with daily pay available through Tapcheck. The franchise is independently owned and operated, and hiring decisions are made by its franchisee.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old and authorized to work in the United States.
• Caregiving experience is preferred, either professional or hands-on.
• Have current California HCA registration or be willing to obtain it.
• Have reliable transportation.
• Be compassionate, dependable, and patient.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Assist with toileting and incontinence care.
• Provide safe transfers and mobility assistance.
• Care for clients with dementia or Alzheimer's.
• Provide hospice support.
• Prepare meals and give medication reminders.
• Provide transportation to appointments and errands.
• Perform light housekeeping.
• Offer companionship and social support.
