Caregiver for Seniors
About The Position
Right at Home Salt Lake is seeking caring individuals to join their team as caregivers. They are dedicated to supporting seniors and adults with disabilities, helping them live safely and comfortably in their own homes. With over 25 years of experience, they are a growing international home care organization. They have part-time openings on weekdays and weekends for caregivers who want to provide comfort, dignity, and companionship. As a caregiver, you will enhance the daily lives of clients by providing companionship, emotional support, assistance with personal hygiene and mobility, preparing healthy meals, maintaining a safe home environment, offering transportation, and giving medication reminders. This role is for compassionate people who want to make a meaningful impact and build genuine connections.
Requirements
- 18 years or older
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Eligible to work in the U.S.
- Able to pass a background check
- Experience with dementia and behavioral care
Nice To Haves
- Experience using a hoyer lift and gait belt
Responsibilities
- Providing companionship and emotional support
- Assisting with personal hygiene and mobility
- Preparing healthy meals and maintaining a safe home environment
- Offering transportation to appointments or outings
- Giving timely medication reminders
Benefits
- Competitive pay: $16.75–$18.25/hour (depending on experience, Dementia Certification, or CNA), minimum $27.50 per shift
- Training/GUIDE Respite Rate: $16.75/hour
- Raises after 60 days and annual reviews with consistent hours
- Generous bonus after 60 days (20+ hours/week and required documents completed)
- Mileage reimbursement between client visits (if under one hour apart)
